The BEST SNOWMOBILING LOCATION is at the Forest Road 300 by Woods Canyon Lake! Park your towing rig at the LARGE PARKING AREA just north of Hwy 260 along the 300 Road, and have ample room to unload your toys! Bring your Apache Sitgreaves Forest Map (available at the Ranger Stations weekdays or better yet Wide World of Maps in metro Phoenix) so you know where the available roads (i.e. snowmobile trails in winter) are.
In the interests of our cabin guests looking for quiet and solitude, we ask that you do not snowmobile here at the cabins other than departing and arriving! There are plenty of trails in the adjacent forests to offer you an enjoyable time!
Due to increasing costs of insurance and liability, there are very few remaining snowmobile rentals available in Arizona. We do not have any snowmobile rentals here whatsoever, but you mat find several rental businesses using the Metro Phoenix Yellow Pages.
